Measles in Disneyland

January 24, 2015
In Disneyland’s It’s A Small World, 70 people got infected with measles that spread very quickly. Measles are infectious viral diseases that look and feel like a cold, but also has red, watery eyes and rashes. Overall, 82% of those infected from this outbreak were not vaccinated, either because they’re too young or because they chose not to.
Those showing measles’ symptoms shouldn’t be bashful about seeing their doctor, because a full body rash is likely to breakout next. Plus, to make matters worse, the state has recently seen the percentage go up in the number of kids who are skipping out on their recommended vaccines for religious reasons. If you have measles do not go near babies, because you can make babies have lung cancer and brain damage.
In conclusion do not go to disneyland because of this very contagious disease. Be safe and healthy! Do not go near someone you know went to Disneyland. Also, do not go near someone that has symptoms of measles.
