Coronaviruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause disease. It is called COVID-19 because the disease started the pandemic in china. The disease was a rare respiratory virus that’s originally from a bat. The body can react to Covid- 19 with numerous effects such as fever, Difficulty breathing, and cramps (ect). To avoid catching coronavirus the U.S. has prepared safety protocols to prevent spreading the illness. The most important safety measure out of all of them is social distancing from approximately 6ft apart since the most amount of cases are within 6 ft of the victim. The virus can stay airborne for a few hours. A few more safety measures have been executed to help contain the virus. There are now requirements that all stores must have the customers wearing masks for most of the time. Like all sicknesses it helps to cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing ether with a tissue or your elbow. Frequently touched items should be sanitized, this is the same thing for your hands too. Avoiding touching your Eyes nose and mouth threw them you can acquire covid. You have a greater risk of catching the virus if you’re in crowded places, or unventilated locations. Of course the best way to prevent getting Covid- 19 is to go to your doctor to ask for the vaccine. It is necessary to not share food of any kind to anyone who has been having symptoms. Traveling during this time is not recommended because it exposes you to many people and some may be sick. It is great to have a plan if you catch Covid- 19 such as preparing food and medicine. The coronavirus should be prevented from spreading with these safety precautions.
