Desert Habitat

A desert habitat has cacti, no water, lots of sand, and rocks. Animals use the cactus for water. Inside the cactus, it has water.  Additionally, prey uses the rocks as a shelter incase predators try to get them. They use the sand to blend in in case of predators. Reptiles eat bugs and smaller animals like other lizards, small scorpions, and moths. Reptiles can lose their tails if predators try and grab their tails. The tail can regenerate. Reptiles fight in different ways. Lizards claim their territory when they put their chin up.
